Ivey "Pee Wee" Boswell

BOSWELL, Mr. Ievy “Pee Wee” Ray, 65, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held for Mr. Boswell at 10 AM on Thursday, September 15, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Defee officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Pee Wee was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Frances Boswell, and his father, Bo Boswell. He is survived by his four children, Melissa Boswell (Jeff) Adams, Michael (Ashley) Boswell, Dewayne (Tracey) Owens and Curtis Owens, five grandchildren, Kimberly Boswell, Austin Boswell, John Michael Boswell, Layla Grace Adams, and Trey Harrison, one great-grandchild, Logan Benbow, his mother, Doris Reeves Boswell, and two brothers, Clarence (Eurtis) Boswell and Billy Ray (Elaine) Boswell. Active pallbearers will be Bo Mount, Robert McGough, Keith Stephens, Barry Reeves, Timmy Boswell, and Bubba Edwards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Funeral Fund for Pee Wee Boswell at First Citizens Bank. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8pm.
