Jack Thomas Money

Jack Thomas Money, 82, a resident of Glenwood, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Crenshaw Community Hospital on Monday, February 12th, 2024. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 PM in Bethel Cemetery on Saturday, March 9th, with Rev. John Whitfield officiating.

Jack proudly served his country with the United States Army before going on to become an expert welder and operator at a paper mill. In his free time, he was an avid sportsman and agriculturalist. Most importantly, Jack simply had a great and enduring love of life that was made full by his wonderfully kind heart and generosity of spirit. Not only that, but he also had an infectious laugh that ensured his ability to entertain family and friends during any get-together. He was truly a one-of-a-kind soul who will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all those who knew and loved him for many more years to come.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac & Mary Alice Tisdale Money, and brother, Roy Money. He is survived by his children, Jack Stacey (Carly) Money and Redinia Money; grandchildren, Mara Gimse and Jeremiah Bird; siblings, John (Glenda) Money, Joe Money, and Marilyn (Bill) Barnes; sister-in-law, Roberta Money; and multiple generations of loving nieces & nephews.
