James Wilton Bradley

BRADLEY, Mr. James Wilton, 80, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Funeral services for Mr. Bradley will be held 10 AM on Friday, February 17, at Faith Walk Ministries with Rev. Justin Bradley and Rev. Leon Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Mills Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Bernice Owens Bradley, parents, William “Bill” and Ruby Lucille Deavers Bradley, sister, Edwina Schofield, and two brothers, Walter Ray Bradley and William Lanier Bradley. He is survived by four children, Rita (Bob) Perdue, Cindy (Levon) McVay, Rickey (Joan) Bradley, and Mike Bradley, ten grandchildren, Justin (Alexus) Bradley, Nikki Bradley, Lindsey McVay, Chris McVay, Summer (David) Rhodes, Isaiah Bradley, Ian Bradley, Joey (Jennifer) McVay, Leann (Chris) Canant, and Dawn (Timmy) Gonzales, twelve great-grandchildren, Lilly Grace Smith, Gunner Rhodes, Paxston Bradley, Hadleigh Smith, Harleigh Smith, Catlyn McVay, Hunter McVay, Torey Canant, Brady Canant, Emma Brooks, Mason Gonzales, and Emma Layne Rhodes, three sisters, Emma Lillian Schofield, Wanda (Kenneth) Sanders, and Sandra (Joe) Flowers, and brother, Wiley Haywood (Grace) Bradley. Active pallbearers will be Chris McVay, Jonathan Williamson, Caleb Sowell, Isaiah Bradley, David Rhodes, Chris Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 – 8pm.
