James Reginald Dozier

DOZIER, Mr. James Reginald, 92, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017. A graveside service for Mr. Dozier will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, October 24, in Zion Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Dozier proudly served his country with the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Jane Dozier, son, Donald Andrew Dozier, sister, Erma Janelle Dozier, and brother, Tommy G. Dozier. He is survived by his four children, James K. (Tammy) Dozier, David E. Dozier, Carla M. Davis, and Michael A. Dozier, three grandchildren, James C. Davis, Krista D. Strickland, and Tiffany D. (Richard) Smith, five great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Richard N. (Irma) Dozier, Sammy Joe (Mary Jo) Dozier, and Addison M. Dozier. Active pallbearers will be James Dozier, David Dozier, Michael Dozier, James Davis, and Richard Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30pm.
