James Herbert Eddins

EDDINS, Mr. James Herbert, 56, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama died Wednesday, November 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2 PM from Turner Chapel with Rev. Ray Cotton officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Eddins was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mary Nichols Eddins. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Theresa Eddins; nine children, Stephaine Watson, Candie (David) Meads, James Eddins, Jr., Jason (Kelly) Eddins, Jeremiah (Katie) Eddins, Megan Eddins, Mandy Eddins, Hope (Jade) Davis, and Heather (Collie) Wiley; twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Anastaia Weathersby, Effie Mae Thomas, and Ann Pearl; and four brothers, Albert Eddins, Calvin Eddins, Joe Eddins, and Thomas Eddins. Active pallbearers will be Michael Bell, Christy Weaver, James Godwin, Kevin Faulk, Bob Pittman and Charlie Mack. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday afternoon from 12:30 pm until service time.
