James Daniel Furr

Mr. James Daniel Furr, 55, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Mr. Furr was a dedicated family man who loved nothing more than to spend time with his wife, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Until a disability forced him into early retirement, he spent most of his working career as a carpenter. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and point hunting. He was a good man whose presence will be sorely missed by all those he leaves behind.

Mr. Furr was preceded in death by his first wife, Vicki Smith Furr, and his mother, Lena Mae McCartha Furr. He is survived by his loving wife, Amber Cooper Furr; five siblings, Teresa Trammell, Stanley (Leanne) Furr, Stacy Furr, Tracy Furr, and Tabatha Furr Pruitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Furr will be held at a later date.
