James Eric Head

HEAD, Mr. James “Jim” Eric, 75, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. There will be a celebration of his life at 11 AM on Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Luverne United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Yawn and Rev. Ashley W. Davis officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Head was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Kate Head. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Anne Forester Head, his son, Josh Forester Head, and other special family members and friends. Active pallbearers will be Dr. Pat Walker, Klein Jones, Tom Perdue, Lonnie Lester, Doug Brown, and Merrill Sport. Any memorial donations may be made to the music ministry at the Luverne United Methodist Church or to the Crenshaw County Board of Education for the Jim Head Memorial Arts Scholarship Fund.
