James Donald Hicks

HICKS, Mr. James Donald, 68, a resident of Luverne and formerly of Greenville died Monday April 18, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday April 20, 2011 at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hicks is preceded in death by a son, Mike Hicks; his parents, Arnold and Mary Emma King Hicks; and a brother, Jack Hicks. Survivors include two children, Treavor (Connie) Hicks and Asa (Mitch) Putnal; seven grandchildren, Ashley (Beau) Morris, Terri Deluca, Brandi Schaefer, Casey Hicks, Jessica Hicks, Brook Schaefer and Brice Putnal; and five great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Treavor Hicks, Mitch Putnal, Jon King, Jason King, Bo Morris, Bill Knight, Chris West, Joe Lester and Stacy Oglesby.
