James Heath Lowery

LOWERY, Mr. James Heath, 31, a resident of Troy, AL died Tuesday, February 21, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2 PM from Luverne First Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Burns officiating. Heath was a 1998 graduate of Luverne High School where he was a member of the 1997 Class 2-A State Championship football team. He attended Troy University where he was a member of SAE Fraternity and graduated with a B.S. in Information Technology. He was employed as a supervisor at Sikorsky in Troy. Heath is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim & Bonnie Lowery and Trammel “Pete” Bray. He is survived by his parents, Harold & Audee Bray Lowery; his sister and brother-in-law, Misty and Brad Meredith; two nephews, Brady & Pete Meredith; and his grandmother, Betty Bray. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account at First Citizens Bank in Luverne for any donations. These donations will be used to establish a scholarship fund for a student athlete at Luverne High School. Donations may be sent c/o First Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 271, Luverne, AL 36049. The family will accept friends at the church on Friday from 1 pm until service time.
