James Milton Mccraine Jr

Mr. James Milton McCraine Jr, 75, a resident of Prattville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, September 14, 2020. A graveside service for Mr. McCraine will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 17th, in Zoar Cemetery with Brenda Johnson delivering the eulogy and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. McCraine worked as a machinist for Rheems Manufacturing for over thirty years before his retirement. In his free time, he loved being out on the water, especially deep sea fishing. He was a devoted family man, who dedicated his life to taking care of his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. His best times were spent with them, and they will continue to cherish his memory until they one day meet again.

Mr. McCraine was preceded in death by his parents, James Milton Sr & Lucille Sanders McCraine, and a brother, David McCraine. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Price McCraine; their four children, Christopher (Julie) McCraine, Steven (Stacey) McCraine, Tammy (Alec) Smith, and Cindy (Danny) Hester; three grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, and Ryan McCraine; three brothers, Larry (Tommie) McCraine, Jack Dempsey McCraine, and Joseph Donald Parker; two aunts, Pearl & Quinnie; two siblings-in-law, Pamela (Jackie) Vickers and Steve Orr; and his two beloved canine companions, Charlie & Elvis.

Active pallbearers will be Steve McCraine, Chris McCraine, Johnny Windham, Christopher McCraine, Justin McCraine, and Steve Orr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Vickers and Ryan McCraine.
