James Edgar Spradley

SPRADLEY, Mr. James “ Jimmy” E., 72, a resident of Auburn and formerly of Dadeville and Rutledge died Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday November 14, 2014 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Brint Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Spradley was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Julia Croxton Spradley. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Becky Tomlin Spradley; two daughters, Tina Ledbetter and Teresa (Jeremy) Lawrence; four grandchildren, Chapman Ledbetter, Channing Ledbetter, Anna Lynn Lawrence and Charlie Lawrence; and two special nieces, Kim (John) Capps and Kay (Scott) Franklin. Active pallbearers will be Lomax Tomlin, Larry Tomlin, Wayne Knox, Scott Franklin, John Capps and Joel Taylor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Friday from 12:30 pm until service time.
