James Edward Stringer

STRINGER, Mr. James Edward, 75, a resident of Honoraville died Friday October 22, 2010. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday October 24, 2010 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with President John Nimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Stringer is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Taylor Stringer and a brother, Daniel Stringer. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Myra Beasley Stringer; three daughters, Janice (David) Worthington, Barbara (Ken) Sexton and Donna (Craig) Horne; four grandchildren, Bradley (Kara) Worthington, Adam (Bridget) Worthington, Dylan Horne and Brittany Sexton; four great grandchildren, Haden, Holden, Shelby and Caroline Worthington; one brother, Glen (Sylvia) Stringer. Active pallbearers will be Bradley Worthington, Adam Worthington, Steve Stringer, Gary Ward, Danny Cheek and C.J. Faulk. Dylan Horne will serve as a honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6pm until 8pm.
