James Douglas Wicker, Jr.

WICKER, Mr. James Douglas, Jr., 44, a resident of Andalusia died Saturday March 8, 2014. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday , March 11, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Wicker is preceded in death by his parents, Dougie and Dolly Williams Wicker. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Christie Mann Wicker; six children, Andrea Wicker, Santana Wicker, Shawn Wicker, Ashley Wicker, Thomas Roper, and Cassie Roper; six grandchildren; two sisters, Marsha (Kenneth) Cauley and Christy Latrell; two brothers, Chad Byrd and Chris (Amy Watts) Byrd. Active pallbearers will be Eric Jernigan, Greg Jackson, Heath Kelley, Johnny Hamm, Jeff Palmer, and Thomas Roper. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6pm until 8pm.
