Janette Leverette Cauthen

CAUTHEN, Mrs. Janette Leverette, 82, a resident of Luverne died Monday April 28, 2014. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Cauthen is preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Cauthen; two sons, Ronald C. Cauthen and W. Alvin Cauthen; a grandson, Michael Cauthen; a great grandson, Parker Barr; and her parents, Horace and Linnie Leverette. Survivors include five children, Sherian ( Vincent ) Spera, Charlotte ( Larry ) Whittington, Sheila Barr, Wanda (Dan) Hudson, and Teresa (Jimmy) McGough; eight grandchildren, Shannon Peters, Jennifer Garrity, Anthony Cauthen, Adam Barr, Erin Barr, David Hudson, Brittney Bragg, and Kayla McGough; eleven great grandchildren, John Peters, II, Morgan Peters, Madison Garrity, Anthony Garrity, Jr., Zachary Barr, Anna Cate Potts, Isabelle Barr, Troy Barr, Carter Bragg, Chris Polaco, and Makayla Polaco; and a sister, Patricia (Sammy) Arthur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm. Active pallbearers will be Anthony Cauthen, Vincent Spera, Justin Bragg, Adam Barr, Jimmy McGough, and Terry Cauthen.
