Jason Daniel Hurley

Jason Daniel Hurley, 45, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022. Funeral services for Jason will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 25th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Darryl Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Panola Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Born on January 4th, 1977 in Troy, Alabama, he was the son of Joseph Lamar Hurley Sr and Peggy S Hurley. He met his loving wife, Jennifer Findley Hurley, and they were happily married. From a young age, he always best enjoyed the time spent with those he loved the most, his family. He had an affinity for mechanics and loved working on trucks. He also enjoyed hauling cattle with his father. All children found him endearing, from his nieces and nephews to children from church and perfect strangers. Later in life, he and his wife opened their own business, J & J Sales and Services where they both serviced and sold automotive shop equipment. He was also a faithful member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Greenville. Above all, he valued putting God first in his life. He was a devoted husband, father, and "Papa" who will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Jason Daniel Hurley was preceded in death by his Mother Peggy S Hurley. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Findley Hurley; his children, Brittany (Shan) Patel, Manda Findley (Parker Grooms), and Randa Findley (Travis Tucker); grandchildren, Sophiah Hurley and Brij Patel; father, Joseph Hurley; siblings, Joey (Renee) Hurley, Amanda (Randy) Miles, and Melissa (David) Leverett; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Travis Tucker, Parker Grooms, Ray Salas, Andrew Freeman, Journey O'Donnell, Chad Heartsill, Ronny Miller, and Austin O'Donnell. Honorary pallbearer will be John Maison Hurley.
