Jeanette Hall Vickery

May 20, 1943 — September 20, 2020

Greenville

Mrs. Jeanette Hall Vickery, 77, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, passed away at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama on Sunday, September 20, 2020. A graveside service for Mrs. Vickery will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 23rd, in Rutledge Cemetery with Brother Charles Box officiating and Dale Bedunah offering the eulogy.

Mrs. Vickery was considered by all who knew her as one of the most selfless, compassionate, and loving people alive. She was a gentle and thoughtful soul who always cared about the needs of others. She had a special kind of strength that allowed her to tackle so many of the trials and tribulations she endured during her lifetime. She was also a devout Christian, and her faith was demonstrated in all of her good works. She truly emulated the love of Christ for others, and was a shining example of all that a good Christian woman should be. While her family and friends will miss her more than mere words could possibly express, they take comfort in the knowledge that she has been welcomed home in Heaven. Rather than grieving her loss, they celebrate both her incredible life and the freedom from all pain and suffering she has found in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by her son, Victor Brant Vickery; her parents, Cleveland Hall and Kathleen Bedunah; and sister, Margaret Ann Roy. She is survived by her son, Ricky A. Vickery; brother, Dale (Dena) Bedunah; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
