Affectionately known as “Jeff” by everyone, Mr. Davis was an extremely caring and loving man with an easygoing spirit. The love of his life, his wife Debra, was his world from the moment they met. Being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, his family was always at the forefront of his everyday life. Whether it was fishing and playing games with his grandchildren, or taking care of his parents in their final days, he made sure he was always there for his family. In any free time Jeff had left he indulged his love of sports, especially Crimson Tide football. He was a truly wonderful man and he will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his grandson, Randall K. Bradley Jr; parents, William Marlin & Sarah Margaret Sexton Davis; and his sister & brother-in-law, Peggy & Chuck Jones. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Boswell Davis; two children, Jennifer (Randall) Bradley and James (Tammy) Edwards; five grandchildren, Gregory S. McDougald Jr, James M. McDougald, Emily McGowan, Christian B. Lawrence, and Dillon Faulk; his aunt, Myra Blackburn; uncle, Donald (Nell) Davis; and three cousins, Sue (Richard) Collins, Eddie (Barbara) Boswell, and Tim (Debbie) Boswell.
