Jimmie Lois Johnson

JOHNSON, Mrs. Jimmie Lois, 93, a resident of Rutledge died Saturday April 26, 2014. Graveside services will be 2 pm Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Rutledge Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Weeks and Rev. Bob Yawn officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Johnson; her parents, Calvin and Buena Gibson; and five sisters. Survivors include six children, James C. (Connie) Johnson, Jr., John D. Johnson, Joe (Prissy) Johnson, Cheryl (Joe) Bagents, Janice (Mike) Morgan, and Jerry (Kris) Johnson; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sister, Dot Law; and a dear devoted friend, Edna Bennett. Grandsons will serve as active and honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Rutledge United Methodist Church.
