McGINNEY, Mr. Jimmy Ray, 74, a resident of Glenwood, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 7, in Providence Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Horn officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. McGinney was preceded in death by his father, Wiley Clay McGuinty and mother, Margie Summerlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Norma Norsworthy McGinney; five children, Sabrina (Chris) Reeves, Rona (Mike) Jones, Bubba (Shanna) McGinney, Greg (Heather) Jones, and Elliott (Candy) Jones; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
