Jimmy Rawdon Welch

WELCH, Mr. Jimmy Rawdon, age 72, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Centenary Assembly of God Church with Dr. Robert Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Welch was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Welch; his mother, Evelyn Talley McCartha; and his brother, Charles Donald Welch. He is survived by his two daughters, Marla (Paul) Jones and Sonya Davis; goddaughter, Heather Adams; four grandchildren, Amy Tomik, Toni Bolan, Wilson Davis, and Carson Davis; six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Welch Paige. Active pallbearers will be Wilson Davis, Talley Pierce, Allen Byrd, Jacob Comardelle, Paul Jones, and Steve Welch. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:30pm until service time.
