Joe Harold Flynn

FLYNN, Mr. Joe Harold, 88, a resident of Rutledge, AL, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2 PM in Rutledge Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hogwood officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Flynn was preceded in death by his son, Joe Dexter Flynn, his parents, Joe M. and Linnie Belle Flynn, and his brother, Joe Douglas Flynn. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sue Martin Flynn; his daughter, Martha Karen (Garth) Brokaw; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Flynn; four grandchildren, Ashley (Lee) Hester, Brock (Nola) Flynn, Lara Brokaw, and Ryan Brokaw; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Hester, Sawyer Flynn, and Riley Flynn; and his sister, Hazel Gregory. Serving as pallbearers will be Brock Flynn, Lee Hester, Gary Paulk, Flynn Gregory,Ryan Brokaw and William Baines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutledge Cemetery Fund or to Gentiva Hospice Foundation (ww.GENTIVAHOSPICEFOUNDATION.ORG). All friends and family will meet at the cemetery on Friday just prior to service time at 2 PM.
