Joe Douglas Schofield

SCHOFIELD, Mr. Joe Douglas, 68, a resident of Dallas, TX and formerly of Rutledge died Monday January 3, 2011. Funeral services will be 9 am Thursday January 6, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brunson Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Schofield is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Clodine Killough Schofield. Survivors include his wife, Jo Petty Schofield; two children, Randy (Erica) Schofield and Renee (Anson) Funderburgh; four grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Schofield and Savannah and Cade Funderburgh; two sisters, Betty (Russell) Ledlow and Judy (Jimmy) Golden; and a brother, Jack (Judy) Schofield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.
