John Douglas Hooks

HOOKS, John Douglas, 83, a resident of Brantley, Alabama 36009, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Morgan Hooks; son, Larry Morgan; parents, Allen Isaiah and Irene Brown Hooks; sister, Ruby Edenfield; and two brothers, Robert Hooks and Allen Hooks. He is survived by his three sons, Brian (Belinda) Morgan, Matthew (Tooney) Morgan, and Keith (Tina) Morgan; daughter-in-law, Debbie Morgan; nine grandsons, Eric, Drew, Blake, Lance, Landon, Cory, Hagan, Austin, and Jonas Morgan; sister-in-law, Betty Hooks; niece, Diane (Ricky) Hughes; two nephews, Roy (Sharon) Hooks and Roger (Brenda) Hooks; and a special cousin, Diane Handley. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
