John Bill Williamson

WILLIAMSON, Mr. John Bill, 70, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, died Thursday, October 6, 2016. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 3 PM in Calvary Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Winfred King and Rev. Mark Sims officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his son, John Timothy Williamson; his parents, Rob and Thelma Killough Williamson; and three brothers, Jimmy Williamson, Joe Richard Williamson, and Stanley Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wendy Williamson; three children, Stephen Williamson, April (Mike) Shaneyfelt, and Josh (Kelley) Williamson; ten grandchildren: Trevor Williamson, Austin Shaneyfelt, Breanna Shaneyfelt, John Michael Shaneyfelt, Preston Shaneyfelt, Tristan Shaneyfelt, Sherry Williamson, Winston Williamson, Derick Williamson, and Sean Williamson; and three sisters, Gloria ( Jerry ) Roberts, Wanda ( John ) Carr , and Monica ( Amos) Grayson. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-2 pm before leaving in a procession for the graveside service.
