Johnnie B Simmons

SIMMONS, Mr. Johnnie B, 78, a resident of Luverne died Saturday, July 06, 2013 after a brief illness. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Zoar Cemetery with Minister John Dickinson and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Mr. Simmons is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Claudie Bryan Simmons; a sister, Carolyn Sue Simmons; and four brothers, Harper Simmons, Waylon Simmons, Tullis Simmons and Jerry Ray Simmons. Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Conkle and Lisa Downing; two grandchildren, Christy Downing Dawson and Brian Downing; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Maxine Jones, Mable Hamm, Doris Morgan and Judy Rogers; and three brothers, Dallas Simmons, Dwaine Simmons and Guy Simmons. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery on Saturday at the service hour.
