Johnnie Yarbrough

YARBROUGH, Mr. Johnnie, 80, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 after an extended illness. Funeral services for Mr. Yarbrough will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 14, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Minister Charles Sipper officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his parents, Banks and Audi Johnson Yarbrough, three sisters, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley White Yarbrough, three children, Keith (Glenda) Yarbrough, Teresa (Wayne) Phillips, and Gina (Ronnie) Spivey, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three nieces, and three nephews. Active pallbearers will be Johnnie Alston, Russell Alston, Mike Adams, Jr., Todd McNeil, Dale Moncrief, and Donald White. Ray Kiser, Joe White, Carl Massey, and Waylon Adams will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 – 11 AM.
