Joseph Preston Richburg

RICHBURG, Mr. Joseph Preston, 61, a resident of Goshen died Thursday October 3, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday October 5, 2013 at the Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. W. O. Sanders, Rev. Lamar Gibson and Rev. David Richburg officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Richburg is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rheba Carnes Richburg and his father-in-law, Robert Quincey Carter. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patti Carter Richburg; two children, Joseph Robert (Samantha) Richburg and Shannon Richburg (Robbie) Sharp; four grandchildren, Kendall Sharp, Brandi Duncan, Paige Brunson and Kaley Brunson; one great grandchild, Auston Sharp; mother-in-law, Betty J. Carter; sister, Sheila (Karl) Eiland; and an aunt, Mary (Larry) Allen. Active pallbearers will be Ty Eiland, Will McCrory, David Carter, Luke Hughes, Karl Eiland and Lewis Hughes. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10am until service time.
