Joseph Kendrick Tomberlin

TOMBERLIN, Mr. Joseph K. “Tubby”, 80, a resident of Glenwood, AL died Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 7, 2011 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Tomberlin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Byrd Tomberlin; his daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Todd Parker; his granddaughter, Madison Parker; his sister, Frances Eiland; and his brother, Wilburn (Lalar) Tomberlin. Active pallbearers will be Clint Byrd, Mike Byrd, John Hoffman, Johnny Nichols, T.J. Morrow, and Vernon Moody. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
