Joyce Voncile Kent

Kent, Mrs. Joyce Heartsell, 83, a resident of Rutledge died Tuesday November 18, 2014 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday, November 21, 2014 at the County Line Church of Christ with Minister Dennis Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Black Rock Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Kent is preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Kent; her parents, Charlie and Maggie McGaha Heartsell; and three brothers, Dewitt Heartsell, Charlie Mack Heartsell, and Kenneth Heartsell. Survivors include six children, Larry (Kim) Kent, Sharon (Randy) Beasley, Sherry (Fred) Jeffcoat, Sheila (Jerry) Mills, Donnie Kent, and Ronnie (Joan) Kent; thirteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren; and a brother, Terry (Sandra) Heartsell. Active pallbearers will be Homer Carpenter, Randal Beasley, Tanner Pouncey, Daryl Pouncey, Shannon Malone, and Jeff Wilson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
