Judy was hard-working and devoted to her family. She grew up in Highland Home and moved to Brewton in 1965, where she worked at Judy Bond and raised her two beautiful daughters with Paul, her husband of 64 years this month. She dedicated her life to serving others, preparing countless meals for those in need, working at her church, and being a wonderful neighbor. Judy was an amazing cook. Just a few family favorites were her fried chicken, red velvet cake, sweet potato casserole, and banana pudding. Judy was also a talented seamstress, and she loved to work in her flower beds which were always beautiful.
In 1998, she and Paul moved back to the Highland Home area to live at the "farm" and help care for her mother. Judy loved spending summers snapping beans, shelling peas, and canning vegetables from the garden with Paul, her daughters, and their families. Her jellies and jams were treasured family favorites.
In her professional life, Judy served as a payroll manager at Judy Bond in Brewton, Alabama for over 30 years. Even working full-time, she was dedicated to her family. She supported Paul when he was coaching, cheering on him and his teams. She attended activities her girls were involved in, supporting and encouraging them. She was so proud of her four grandchildren and loved spending time with them, especially at the farm. Her two great-grandchildren arrived over the last five years, and though she had limited visits with them due to distance, she loved FaceTiming and sharing hugs when they could be together. Judy was also a dedicated member of the Brewton Church of Christ from 1965 to 1998, and then Highland Home Church of Christ after their move to the farm.
Judy is survived by her husband, Paul; daughters & sons-in-law, Paula & Bill Stoll and Donna & Stephen Stair; grandchildren, Will (Brittani) Stoll, Caroline (Carter) Cabe, Davis Stoll, and Sarah Beth Stair, great-grandchildren, Rylee and William Stoll; brother, Allan Hoffman; sisters-in-law, Ruby Horne, Charlotte Hoffman, Mary Jo Hoffman, Celia Hoffman, and Sally Best; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who all loved her dearly.
