Julia Claire Johns

“Our sweet Julia Claire Johns was born with her angel wings on April 30, 2021 at 11:35 PM, weighing 8 lbs and 2 oz, and was 19 and ½ inches long. She is perfect. She is beautiful. She has brown hair just like her Momma and looks just like her Daddy. She is loved so big, and will be missed every single day. Please keep our family in your prayers.”

Julia Claire was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Billy & Julia Haws (who was her namesake), Mike Barnes, John Sr & Mary Lou Overstreet, and A.J. & Eloise Turman.

She is survived by her loving parents, Wesley Blake & Rachel Barnes Johns; her three big sisters, Annabell Bryan, Victoria Johns, & Rylee Johns; grandparents, Michael & Jackie Barnes and Pat & Donna Johns; great-grandmother, Andrea Barnes; two uncles, Braxton (Kendall) Barnes and Nathan (Cody) Nichols; three first cousins, Mark, Eli, & Kendal Nichols; and great-aunt, Edna Thomas.

A graveside service for Julia Claire will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 3rd, in Springhill South Cemetery with Rev. Mark Perry officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
