COBB, Mrs. Kana Tanner, 78, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, April 25, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, William Everett Cobb and her parents, Marvin and Lois Daniel Tanner. She is survived by two daughters, Janet (Mike) Byrd and Judy Cobb, three grandchildren, Lindsey (Mark) Farmer, Andy (Abbie) Hipps, and Austin Hipps, two great-grandchildren, Cody Andrews and Faith McCabe, three sisters, Minnie Lee Holland, Doris (Harlin) Hurston, and Linda Kelley, and her brother, Marshall (Mildred) Tanner. Active pallbearers will be Andy Hipps, Austin Hipps, Mike Byrd, Jim Hurston, Wesley Holland, and Mark Farmer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 – 7pm.
