BEDUNAH, Mrs. Kathleen Burgans, 91, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Bedunah will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 28, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with her son, Dale Bedunah, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Bedunah was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Bedunah, daughter, Margaret Ann Roy, parents, Andrew and Lena Mae Bell Burgans, and her sister, Mae Jakubin. She is survived by her two children, Dale (Dena) Bedunah and Jeanette Hall Vickery, two grandchildren, Ricky A. Vickery and Victor Brant Vickery, two sisters, Sarah Frances Peavy and Julia Faye Burgans (Charles) Cargile, her brother, Edward (Carol) Burgans, and numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Peavy, Billy Peavy, Jerrald Peavy, Heath Peavy, Timothy Hall, and Joseph Vickery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 - 2pm.
