Kenneth David May

Mr. Kenneth David May, 69, a resident of Grady, Alabama, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. May will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 20, at New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Horn officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. May was an avid fan of both Alabama football and Dale Earnhardt, but, more than anything, he adored his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Clyde and Mattie Lou Lacy May, and two sisters, Rebecca & Charlotte May. Mr. May is survived by his three children, Samantha May, Renee (James) Hall, and Edward (Daphne) May; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his three siblings, Bill (Lorraine) May, Mary Faulk, and Mike (Jackie) May; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Active pallbearers will be Denver McCaig, Bill Faulk, John David May, Jay Hollingshead, Hunter Wesson, Mike Hines, Jeffrey Sanders, and Rusty Burkett.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1 - 2pm. Following the interment, family and friends are welcome to attend a gathering at the home of Lloyd & Lottie Huckaby, 17 Lacy May Road, Grady, Alabama.
