SMITH, Mr. Kenneth Brooks, 66, a resident of Goshen died Wednesday June 27, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday June 30, 2012 at the Luverne Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church with Brother John Salay officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Eleanor Smith; grandparents, Grady and Louie Brooks and Ernest and Mollie Smith. He is survived by one sister, Elaine(Charles) Wood and one brother, Robert H. Smith; four nephews, Robert Smith, David(Debby) Wood, Jason(Kim) Wood, and Jed(Selena) Wood; one niece, Misha Smith. Active pallbearers will be David Wood, Jason Wood, Jed Wood, Robert Smith, Simon Harris and Darryl Harris. The body will lie-in-state at the church Saturday for 30 minutes prior to service time. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
