Mr. Huett was a dedicated worker in manufacturing for many years. In his free time, he loved exploring his creative side through his painting. He was an avid fan of the Auburn Tigers football team and of NASCAR, as well as other forms of racing. He also thoroughly enjoyed collecting race cars. His favorite times though were the ones spent with his beloved family and friends. He was a dedicated husband, brother, and uncle who loved his family beyond all measure, including his best canine companion, Yella. He has left them all far too soon, but they will turn for comfort to all of their cherished memories together and in the knowledge that he is now at peace in the arms of his loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Huett was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Austin & Doris Ann Davis Huett, and brother, William Charles Huett. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kathy Lee Huett; sisters, Joann Barlow and Carolyn (Tommy) Coleman; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann (Warren) Foster; brother-in-law, Matthew (Jennifer) Pouncey; and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Pouncey, Warren Foster, Larry Petty, Rick Jeffcoat, Steven Foster, and Christopher Coleman.
