Kermit Foster Styron

STYRON, Mr. Kermit Foster, 96, a resident of Rutledge died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Siloam Baptist Church with Dr. Chet Roden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Styron is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Crittendon Styron; his brother, Barnna O. Styron: and his parents, Thomas and Ida Mae Lumley Styron. Survivors include three children, Barbara Whitaker, Gerdon (Jo) Styron, and Bennie (Lena) Styron; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Foster Styron, Jeremy Roden, Logan Sport, Nolan Clackley, Caleb Roden, and Mickey Styron. Will Whitaker, John Luke Whitaker, Shelby Styron, and Riley Styron will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm. The family requests that any memorial donations may be made to the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
