Lanier Archie Dimaggio

DIMAGGIO, Mr. Lanier Archie, 33, a resident of Montgomery died suddenly Sunday, September 26, 2010. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 1 PM in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Highland Home, AL, with Rev. Jay Wolfe officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. DiMaggio was preceded in death by his brother, Peter S. DiMaggio, Jr.; and grandparents, H.B. & Rose King Lanier and Archie & Hortense DiMaggio. He is survived by his parents, Pete & Gwen Lanier DiMaggio; two sisters, Valerie (Eric) Shonts and Bethel (Glenn) Ziesenitz; a brother, Peter S. (Harmony) DiMaggio, III; and seven loving nieces & nephews. Lanier was a very compassionate, caring person who cared deeply about leading others to Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Montgomery Caring Center, 305 S. Perry St., Montgomery, AL 36104. The family and friends will meet at the cemetery just prior to service time on Thursday.
