Lannie Owens Oglesby

OGLESBY, Mrs. Lannie M. Owens, 88, a resident of Luverne died Thursday, December 2, 2010. Graveside services will be 11 am Monday, December 6, 2010 at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Oglesby is preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Oglesby; parents, Daniel Owens and Gladys Lowe; a sister, Ilene O. McCartha; and a brother, Joe E. Owens. Survivors include four nieces, Ann (Lafayette) Sampley and Karen (James) Hester, both of Luverne, Mableen (Willie John) Beck of Lapine, and Jacquelene (Norman) Walker of Houston, TX ;one nephew, Dwanice (Carolina) Owens; a host of great and great great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Exa Frazier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday December 4, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.
