Larry Wayne Moody

MOODY, Mr. Larry Wayne, 56, a resident of Goshen, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Funeral services for Mr. Moody will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Johnson and Rev. Malcolm Butts officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Tomberlin Moody, and his parents, Vernon and Faye King Moody. He is survived by his son, Vernon Benton Moody, sister, Nancy Free (Ronald Thrower), brother, Terry (Dot) Moody, parents-in-law, Wilburn and Lalar Tomberlin, niece, Kelsie Moody, and two nephews, Trent (Stan) Moody and Justin (Michelle) Moody. Active pallbearers will be Justin Moody, Trent Moody, Clint Byrd, Todd Parker, Chris Sasser, Robert King, Kirk Newman, and Johnny Nichols. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 2, from 6 – 8pm.
