Larry Gene Sanders

SANDERS, Mr. Larry Gene, 64, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Funeral services for Mr. Sanders will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 11, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents, Shorty and Willie Grace Beasley Sanders, two sisters, Joyce Burgans and Betty Parker, and a brother, Robert Lee Sanders. He is survived by four children, Pamela (Roger) Whitehead, Brandon (Cary) Sanders, Tamara Rudolph, and Kylie Paschal, eight grandchildren, three sisters, Ina (Edward) Brown, Janice Davis, and Helen Sanders, two brothers, Willie (Sandra) Sanders and Curtis Sanders, special friend, Ashley, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends and other loved ones. Active pallbearers will be David Dickey, Shannon Davis, Kyle Petty, Stanley Boyd, Willie Candill, and Lamar Petty. Larry Candill and Bobby Lowe will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
