LUKE, Mrs. Laura Ann Hughes, 78, a resident of Brantley passed away Tuesday October 16, 2012. Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday October 19, 2012 at Sasser Cemetery with Rev. William Leverette officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Luke is preceded in death by her parents, A.B. and Jessie Bush Hughes and a sister, Jeanelle Heron. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Aubrey C. Luke; three children, Larry C. (Kathy) Luke, Rhonda A. (Jesse) Miles and Cynthia J. (James) Steele; two grandchildren, Darrick C. Luke and Heather L. Miles; a sister, Peggy (Elton) Webb; and a brother, Wilton (Carolyn) Hughes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 pm until 7 pm.
