Laurel I. "Buddy" Hester

HESTER, Mr. Laurel I. “ Buddy”, 67, a resident of Honoraville died Thursday, February 13,2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Mt Zion Cemetery (The Lodge) with the Rev. Lane Simmons and Rev. Rex Simmons officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Hester is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Melzora Hester and brother, David Hester. Survivors include three sisters, Exa(PA) Frazier, Joyce(Perry) Sexton and Barbara Hester; one brother, William(Faye) Hester; and special friend, Raymond Colquett. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Sexton, Tony Frazier, Ronnie Frazier, Daniel Frazier, Shawn Dickey, David Hester, Kevin Hester, and Payton Frazier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1pm until 2pm.
