Leana Rebecca Davis

February 24, 1969 — May 23, 2024

Luverne

Leana Rebecca "Becky" Davis, 55, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024. A celebration of Becky's life will be held at a later time.

Becky was a hard-working woman who loved her family with all of her heart and soul. She was a devoted daughter who felt privileged to take care of her mother in her later years, and they enjoyed their time together fully, often at whichever yard sales and thrift stores they came across! In her free time, she loved using her gifted green thumb to grow and nurture roses to beautify her yard, as well as taking immense pride in keeping a clean and neat home (which is usually a job all by itself). Becky absolutely adored being a Granny to all of her treasured grandchildren and spending all the time she could with them. She certainly taught them how to stand up for themselves with her outspoken and strong-willed personality. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who meant the world to all those who knew and loved her.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Greeley Ray & Bonnie Ruth Etheridge Phillips, and siblings, Bonnie Nelle Phillips, Jimmy Ray Phillips, and Donald Leon Phillips. She is survived by her beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy & Brittni Taylor, Christopher & Chandelle Taylor, Anthony "Tater" & Amber Taylor; and grandchildren, Izzabella Taylor, Camden Williamson, Wynnley Taylor, AJ Taylor, Brantley Taylor, Weldyn Taylor, Brody Taylor, Crimson Taylor, Wylder Taylor, Wakley Taylor, Tayten Oak Taylor, and Adan Thomas.
