Lena Stephenson Langford

LANGFORD, Mrs. Lena S. , 95, a resident of Luverne died Thursday, December 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at 11 am from the Luverne First Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Burns and Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Langford is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marvin Langford; son, Edward Langford; grandson, Chad Langford; and two sons-in-law, Gene L. Tisdale and Nelson Knight. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Tisdale and Peggy Knight; one son, Carroll Langford; five grandchildren, Teresa (Joe) Wares, Connie (Ricky) Beck, David (Connie) Tisdale, Angie (Sonnie) Parker, and Jimmy (Susan) Tisdale; ten great-grandchildren; and her loving caregivers, Edna Horne, Martha Harris, Guynese Eiland and Hospice Advantage. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 9:30 am until service time. Active pallbearers will be David Tisdale, Jimmy Tisdale, Sonnie Parker, Ricky Beck, Joe Wares, and Larry Wyrosdick.
