Leon Chesser

CHESSER, Mr. Leon, 76, a resident of Prattville, Alabama and formerly of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Chesser will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, November 27, in Magnolia Baptist Church in Lapine, Alabama with Rev. Charles Francisco officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Chesser was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Thomas Chesser, and two sons, Michael Chesser and Thomas Chesser. He is survived by two children, Tammy (Daniel) Brown and Tim (Joanna) Chesser, three granddaughters, Megan, Maddie, and Marlee, three brothers, Lonnie Chesser, Alvin Chesser, and Billy Chesser, and two sisters, Margie (Bubba) Sexton and Minnie Royal. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30pm.
