Lewis Leo Pritchett

August 12, 1932 — December 2, 2021

Bradleyton

Mr. Lewis Leo Pritchett, 89, a resident of Bradleyton, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021. Funeral services for Mr. Pritchett will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 5th, from the Chapel at Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Pritchett was a beloved pillar of his community of Bradleyton, while also serving as a deacon with the Bradleyton Baptist Church. He first began working with the Pepsi-Cola Plant in Luverne as a young man, before eventually moving on to begin his own auto repair business from his home. He truly had a gift for understanding and working with mechanics. In fact, he enjoyed it so much that he continued tinkering with small motors long after his retirement. In his personal life, he displayed the heart of a servant of God. He was well-known for always being willing to help anyone in need, and it was also something he loved to do. He was also a devoted husband, brother, and uncle, who enjoyed being a real rock for his family. They all loved and depended on "Uncle Leo," and he will be sorely missed by all those he leaves behind.

Mr. Pritchett was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Pritchett; parents, James & Grace Holland Pritchett; siblings, James Pritchett, Ruth Davis, Jimmie Holladay, Betty Tomberlin, and Robert Pritchett. He is survived by his siblings, Patsy (Oren) Anderson and Jerry Pritchett; siblings-in-law, Hubert Tomberlin and Sherry Cain; loving nieces & nephews, Ronnie Davis Sr, Glenda Parrott, Elaine Holladay, Lorrie Holladay, Jeff Holladay, James Allen Holladay, Bobby Tomberlin, Paige Pritchett, and Amber Headley; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Walter Dickey, John Dickey, Greg Dickey, Bobby Tomberlin, James Allen Holladay, and Brett Lansdon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 - 2 PM.
