Linda Darnell Brooks

BROOKS, Mrs. Linda Darnell, 60, a resident of Luverne, AL died Sunday, November 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from Mills Chapel Church of God with Rev. Kenneth Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Brooks is preceded in death by her son, Billy Wayne Brooks, and her parents, Shields & E.C. Stokes Herron. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William Lamar Brooks; three children, Darron (Pamela) Brooks, Malinda Ryans, and Debbie (Tim) Boswell; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Christine Williams, Shirley Baldwin, and Mary Reeves; and three brothers, George Herron, Johnny Herron, and Cecil Herron. Active pallbearers will be James H. Edwards, Jr., Timmy L. Boswell,Jr., Pewee Boswell, William Tubberville, Dallas Hooper and Darron Brooks, Jr.
