Linda Rae Clarkson

March 25, 1950 — February 18, 2025

Lapine

Linda Rae Brewer Clarkson, 74, a resident of Lapine, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later time.

Linda was a dedicated registered nurse who loved few things more than taking care of her patients. She enjoyed both the rigors and rewards of helping take care of people when they needed it most. Her outgoing nature made her an easy person to love and endeared her to so many of her patients over the years. She also had a fun-loving side as well as an appreciation for muscle cars persisted throughout her life. You can bet if she saw one she especially loved, she was going to insist on turning around to check it out. Linda was also always on the look out for a great antique shop or yard sale where she might find a unique treasure to brighten up her home. You were also in luck if she graced you with one of the best pound cakes that were always made with love. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and "MoMe" to her beloved grandchildren who she cherished more than life itself. They all loved her so very dearly as well and words cannot possibly express how sorely she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her children, Stephanie and Shane; parents, Robert & Evelyn Jackson Brewer, and siblings, Paul, Wayne, and Sue. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Michael F. Clarkson; children, Lance Jolley and Starla Etheridge; grandchildren, Megan, Claire Ellen, Kieran, Rylan, and Ashlin; siblings, JoAnn, Walter, Gene, and Joseph; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
