Linnie Prescott Blackwell

BLACKWELL, Mrs. Linnie Prescott, 84, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016. A graveside service for Mrs. Blackwell will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 26, in Bethlehem Cemetery with Minister Jerry Barlow officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Linnie was preceded in death by her husbands, Roland Blackwell and Marzette Sexton, son, Thomas A. Blackwell, and granddaughter, Ashley Brooke Blackwell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Sexton Stubbs and Jerry Stubbs, four grandchildren, Toni (Mike) Ingram, Bill (Sunny) Sexton, Jessica (Jonathan) Cox, and Tab (Mary Beth) Blackwell, eleven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Betty Cauthen, Sue Harrod, and Martha Harrod, and brother, Raymond Prescott. Active pallbearers will be Storm Worthington, Doug Davis, Tab Blackwell, Mike Ingram, Bill Sexton, and Bill Findley. Family and friends will meet in the cemetery on Sunday at service time.
